PHP Developer

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and modern frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and UI/UX designers to create seamless user experiences.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality and third-party services.
  • Optimize application performance, ensuring responsiveness and scalability.
  • Maintain and extend existing codebases, ensuring they adhere to best practices.
  • Write unit tests and perform debugging to ensure application stability.
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, optimizing queries and database design.
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to plan and deliver features iteratively.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in PHP development and web technologies.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of professional experience in PHP development.
  • Proficiency in modern PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
  • Experience with database management systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js, React.js, or Angular is a plus.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
  • Understanding of software testing principles and experience with testing tools.
  • Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher) for effective communication.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
